Pantera Noir

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Pantera Noir is a dark damask with a classical, scrolling pattern that reads clearly against its charcoal ground. The taupe motif gives the design a softened metallic feel without looking bright or glossy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Pantera Noir has a 145cm width and a 37cm pattern repeat, making it a practical choice for tailored domestic schemes. The surface shows an ornate damask in warm taupe-grey tones, with the pattern sitting just lighter than the ground so the detail remains visible without high contrast. Its overall effect is deep and formal rather than stark, helped by the softened, slightly weathered look of the motif. The repeat is large enough to give the fabric presence, so it works best where the pattern can be appreciated across a seat, headboard, or full-length curtain.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-and-taupe colourway to bring weight and pattern to classic seating, especially on pieces with clean lines. It also works well as drapery in a room with pale plaster, stone, or oak tones, where the darker ground can anchor the scheme.

A moody damask that suits structured upholstery or elegant statement drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
