About this fabric

Porto Spice from Fryett's Fabrics is a 140cm-wide fabric woven in 72% polyester and 28% cotton, with a 5.5cm pattern repeat and NQT1 care instructions. The design reads as a tight, repeating diamond-and-chevron pattern, where warm spice-red bands sit against chalky cream, soft taupe and muted grey. In this colourway the terracotta tone is gentle and dusty, so the pattern feels more relaxed than bold, with the light ground keeping the overall effect open. It has the look of a versatile woven textile that would add texture and movement without overwhelming a room.

How to use it

This colourway works well on compact upholstery pieces, dining chairs or a footstool where the small repeat can be appreciated up close. Pair it with natural wood, putty neutrals and rust accents to echo the warm terracotta notes.

Use with warm oak, linen neutrals and aged brass for a grounded, textural scheme.
