Wilmington Raspberry

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Wilmington Raspberry pairs jewel-toned pink florals with soft sage and blush foliage on a pale ground. The overall effect is bright but composed, with the berry notes giving the design its strongest accent.

About this fabric

This Fryett's Fabrics textile is made from 79% recycled polyester and 21% polyester, and it comes in a 145cm width with a 37cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. In this colourway, the raspberry flowers read vivid and slightly velvety against the light ground, while the olive and sage leaves calm the palette and stop it feeling too sugary. The woven surface gives the motif a neat, textural definition that suits the floral clusters and trailing stems. It is a good choice when you want a patterned fabric with clear colour contrast but a fresher, softer finish than a darker berry scheme.

How to use it

Use Wilmington Raspberry on occasional chairs, a banquette, or full-length curtains where its pinks can be repeated across a room. It works especially well with warm white paint, pale oak, and muted green accessories that pick up the leaf tones.

Use for curtains or statement upholstery where the raspberry blooms can bring colour without feeling too heavy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wilmington Raspberry without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
