Uppsala Blush

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Uppsala Blush shows a woven block pattern in washed blush pink, cream, sage and ochre on an airy pale ground. The effect is softly rhythmic rather than bold, with the colours sitting lightly across the surface.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 88% polyester and 12% cotton and comes in a 137cm width, with a 38cm pattern repeat. The visible weave gives the design a textured, almost hand-built look, while the pale base keeps the zigzagging horizontal blocks from feeling heavy. Blush pink is the dominant note, lifted by muted sage green and small ochre accents that add warmth without sharpening the palette. It reads as a relaxed mid-weight textile with enough substance for upholstery, while still suiting softer furnishing uses.

How to use it

Use Uppsala Blush on an accent chair, ottoman or relaxed bench where the pastel pink and muted green can soften timber and stone. It also works well beside warm white walls and woven natural accessories for an easy, understated look.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the blush tones stay fresh.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Uppsala Blush without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
