Portrait Pups Seafoam

Prints Fabric

Portrait Pups Seafoam is a light, airy cotton print scattered with hand-painted dog portraits, bones and paw prints across a pale seafoam ground. The mix of charcoal, cream, tan and rust accents keeps the design playful without losing its calm, washed-blue feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 140cm wide, this print has a clear, breathable cloth handle that suits relaxed soft furnishings. The 32cm vertical repeat and 17.1cm horizontal repeat give the motif plenty of room to read, so the dog faces and little bones stay crisp and easy to place. The seafoam background is cool and softly greyed rather than bright, which lets the darker muzzles, ears and paw marks stand out cleanly. With no performance finish noted, it is best treated as a decorative fabric for pieces where the lively pattern can take centre stage.

How to use it

This muted seafoam version works well in a relaxed family room, especially with pale oak, chalk white and charcoal accessories. It also makes a cheerful lining or blind fabric in a room that needs colour without heaviness.

Use for relaxed blinds, cushions or a light statement chair with a playful edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
