About this fabric

This plain fabric from Fryett's Fabrics' Plains & Semi Plains collection has a close, tactile bouclé surface that reads as dense and gently textured in the swatch. The indigo shade is very deep and cool, sitting between navy and midnight blue with only the faintest lighter flecking where the pile catches the light. With a 140cm width, 0cm pattern repeat and a 94% polyester, 6% cotton composition, it is a practical upholstery cloth with a neat, modern look. The colour feels smart rather than bright, giving furniture a grounded, tailored presence without looking heavy or flat.

How to use it

This shade works well on a sofa, bench or ottoman where its deep blue will hold its own against pale walls and stone-toned flooring. Pair it with oatmeal, soft grey or warm brass to bring out the cooler indigo depth.

Use with pale wood, chalky neutrals and brushed metals to keep the rich blue feeling crisp.
