Fryett's Fabrics

Tide PVC Indigo

Tide PVC Indigo pairs a muted indigo ground with neat pale leaf sprigs arranged in regular vertical stripes. The result feels crisp and coastal, with the pattern standing out clearly against the darker background.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a cool, slate-leaning indigo base with small cream botanical motifs that read almost chalky against the surface. The vertical repeat gives the design a tidy, elongated rhythm, and the 32cm pattern repeat keeps the stripe effect well spaced and orderly. Made from 100% Cotton with a PVC coating, this is a practical textile with a clean, lightly surfaced look rather than a soft drape. At 132cm wide, it is well suited to table covering projects and other hard-wearing decorative uses where the blue tone can bring a fresh, unfussy feel.

How to use it

Use it to sharpen pale timber, white tile and brushed metal, or pair it with natural linens for a practical coastal scheme. The indigo background keeps the look grounded, while the pale sprigs stop it feeling too heavy.

A fresh indigo ground with crisp pale leaf sprigs suits practical kitchen seating or simple curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tide PVC Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
