FORIS Cotton Linen Curtain - Verdure

curtain FabricHOH-C-1-FA-FOI-CL-VDR-XXX-XXX

FORIS Verdure is a richly shaded botanical curtain in dusky olive-grey, with pale sage foliage and warm brown branches woven across the design. In the photograph, the cloth hangs in deep, soft folds that reveal shifting layers of the pattern.

About this fabric

The Verdure colourway has a cool, muted olive-grey ground, layered with charcoal leaves, sage-green foliage and occasional warm taupe-brown stems. Large leafy forms overlap across the curtain, while the folds deepen the darker tones and give the surface a softly dimensional appearance. As a cotton linen curtain fabric, it is shown here as full-length window drapery with a relaxed gathered fall. Its restrained, earthy palette brings a traditional botanical character without the brightness of a more saturated green.

How to use it

Use Verdure for full curtains in a sitting room or bedroom, balancing its olive-grey depth with warm ivory walls, aged brass and timber furniture. The brown branches allow terracotta or tobacco accents to sit naturally alongside the cooler sage leaves.

Pair the muted olive, sage and charcoal palette with warm neutrals and natural wood for a quietly traditional scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside FORIS Cotton Linen Curtain - Verdure without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
