curtain VelvetHOH-C-1-FA-MOG-VE-MID-XXX-XXX

MOON GARDEN in Midnight is a richly coloured botanical velvet with a near-black olive ground, shown here as a full, gathered curtain. Mustard-gold leaves and warm rust-toned flowers emerge between the deep folds.

About this fabric

The design combines curling foliage, rounded leaves and stylised flowers in olive, ochre, mustard and muted rust against a shadowy midnight ground. Its velvet surface reads as dense and plush in the folds, alternating between near-black depth and softer green-brown highlights as the light catches it. The vertical gathering gives the pattern a dramatic, almost tapestry-like presence at the window. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this Midnight colourway with aged brass, warm plaster tones and dark timber to draw out its antique gold and olive colouring. Use it for full-length curtains where the deep pile and dense botanical pattern can read in changing light.

Use its deep olive-black ground and antique gold foliage to bring richly layered drama to curtains, cushions or an accent chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
