About this fabric

CASPIAN is catalogued as a Velvet, and this Cocoa colourway has a plush surface that catches the light along the raised pile. Warm cocoa and tobacco-brown areas sit beneath dense black, tiger-like stripes, giving the swatch a shadowy, high-contrast depth. The pattern is large in scale, with irregular horizontal bands and darker branching forms creating a graphic animal-print effect. Its velvet character and dramatic tonal contrast make it especially suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use this warm, dark cocoa colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard, where the black striping can act as a graphic focal point. Balance its dramatic depth with aged brass, dark timber and softer neutral textiles.

Use the warm cocoa ground and black striping to bring dramatic, animal-inspired depth to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
