Book of Little Treasures Fabrics FabricHAF0005-01

What A Hoot Pink/Aquamarine/Natural brings a lively treetop scene to an airy natural ground, with bright pink, aquamarine, lime, yellow and coral birds and owls. The branching design has a fresh, illustrated character, while the cool aqua and vivid pink accents give the colourway plenty of lift.

About this fabric

Stylised owls and small birds perch among pale olive branches, scattered leaves and tiny berries, creating a clearly defined vertical repeat rather than an all-over abstract texture. The natural background keeps the composition light, while the pink and aquamarine figures provide the strongest contrast, balanced by lime green, soft yellow and coral details. With a 137 cm usable width and a 68.8 cm vertical pattern repeat, the design offers useful coverage while retaining its playful scale. The 238 gsm cloth and 36 threads per centimetre make this a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring a cheerful, storybook note to a child’s room, reading nook or relaxed sitting room, pairing the natural ground with pale timber and picking out the aquamarine or pink in cushions and trims. Its bright bird-and-owl arrangement also works well on curtains or a feature chair where the 68.8 cm vertical repeat can be appreciated.

A cheerful natural-ground bird and owl design for playful upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
