Atoll Diffused Light/First Light

Colour 1 Fabrics FabricHAF0429-02

Atoll Diffused Light/First Light has a softly luminous ivory ground, overlaid with fine, pale branching leaf sprays. Its close tonal contrast keeps the botanical pattern delicate and almost sketched across the cloth.

About this fabric

This 252 gsm Harlequin fabric shows slender, fern-like branches arranged in a small, repeating vertical rhythm, with the motif picked out in a subtly lighter tone than the ivory background. The restrained contrast gives the colourway a cool, airy first-light quality rather than a strong graphic effect. At 140 cm wide, it offers a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 54.2 cm vertically and 46.5 cm horizontally, while the fine surface is specified at 38 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair this pale ivory colourway with chalky whites, warm stone and light natural timber where its delicate leaf detail can catch changing daylight. It is especially suited to lightly upholstered seating, bedroom curtains or calm layered neutrals.

Use this quietly luminous ivory botanical for softly tailored upholstery, relaxed curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Atoll Diffused Light/First Light without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
