Florio Amber has a rich amber-rust ground crossed by fine, irregular horizontal lines. The closely spaced ridges create a tactile surface, with darker threads adding definition as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This substantial 370gsm woven fabric has a warm, earthen orange tone that reads deeper than a bright orange and gives the colourway a grounded, autumnal character. Fine undulating lines run across the surface, creating a restrained organic pattern rather than a flat plain. With a 142cm usable width and a 6cm vertical repeat, the texture can be positioned consistently across upholstered panels. The 140cm horizontal repeat and 30m standard length are supplied specifications for planning larger upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Florio Amber on a statement armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its burnt orange warmth can sit against walnut, dark wood, cream or softly contrasting stone tones. Its close linear texture adds interest without competing with strongly patterned cushions.

The warm amber ground and finely ridged linear texture bring earthy colour and tactile depth to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
