Montpellier Brass is a softly luminous plain weave in a warm brass-beige tone. Its close, subtly pebbled surface gives the otherwise quiet colour gentle depth as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This 330 gsm fabric has a fine, even woven texture visible across the swatch, with delicate tonal variation rather than a printed motif. The muted brass shade sits between beige and soft antique gold, reading warm and understated rather than bright or yellow. With a 142 cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be planned without matching a design. The standard length is 40 m, making it practical for coordinated upholstery or drapery projects.

How to use it

Pair Montpellier Brass with chalky creams, warm taupes and aged timber for a calm, tonal room. Its subdued gold cast also brings softness to deeper olive, tobacco or charcoal accents without becoming overly ornate.

Use this warm brass neutral to add quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and layered tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
