About this fabric

At 330 gsm, this is a substantial textile with a closely woven, softly textured face rather than a completely flat finish. The Sediment colourway combines taupe, stone and grey nuances, giving the surface gentle depth without a visible motif or directional pattern. Its 142 cm usable width makes it practical for both upholstery and drapery applications. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the plain surface can be positioned without pattern matching.

How to use it

Use Montpellier Sediment on a relaxed sofa, headboard or upholstered chair where its warm grey-taupe tone will sit comfortably with timber, boucle and chalky neutrals. It also works as understated full-length drapery when a room needs softness without introducing a contrasting pattern.

A quietly textured taupe-grey plain weave for upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
