About this fabric

This 590 gsm velvet has a substantial visual and physical presence, making it particularly suited to upholstery. Closely repeated vertical marks form horizontal bands of deep charcoal and pale, silvery slate, producing a cool, architectural rhythm rather than a soft tonal fade. The darker stripes absorb the light, while the slate sections catch it with a muted, brushed brightness characteristic of the visible pile. It has a 137 cm usable width, a 29.8 cm vertical repeat and a 1.7 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use Nevido Charcoal/Slate on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool slate highlights can lift the depth of the charcoal. Keep surrounding finishes restrained—pale stone, smoked timber and brushed metal will reinforce its graphic, quietly luxe character.

Use the cool charcoal and slate contrast to bring graphic depth to tailored upholstery.
