About this fabric

The close-up shows a very small diagonal weave, creating a restrained herringbone-like texture rather than a printed motif. Its icy blue-grey tone is light and airy, with fine silvery threads adding gentle depth across the surface. As a catalogued fabric, no performance features are noted for this colourway. The fine-looking construction makes it particularly appropriate for drapery where the subtle texture can be appreciated across a larger expanse.

How to use it

Use Queensway Alaska for full-length curtains or softly folded blinds in rooms built around chalky whites, pale grey and cool timber. Its blue-grey cast brings a fresh, tranquil note without introducing a strong accent colour.

A cool, quietly luminous blue-grey with a fine woven texture, well suited to elegant curtains and relaxed Roman blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
