About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a usable width of 136cm, a 136cm horizontal repeat and a 63cm vertical repeat, making the bold pattern easy to plan across larger pieces. Its Severe Contract upholstery grade and 50,000 Martindale rating point to a hard-wearing cloth suited to busy interiors, while the FR-treatable finish makes it suitable for both drapery and upholstery. Visually, the damson base reads as a muted pink-purple rather than a bright plum, giving the leaves a moody contrast. The broad wavy repeat and satin-like surface effect create movement and depth as the light catches the raised print and darker leaf shadows.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern with a richer, more intimate feel: dining chairs, statement armchairs, or curtains against pale walls. It works especially well with deep wood, oxidised brass and simple plains in moss, charcoal or warm neutrals.

Pair with dark timber, brass and plain weaves to let the damson ground and leaf motif stand out.
