Enchanted Garden Martinique Lagoon Flat

SS22 Images - Enchanted Garden, Geometrica, Water Meadow & Portland Fabric

A moody lagoon-blue ground gives this Enchanted Garden colourway a rich, leafy depth, while the pale fronds and warm tan detailing lift across the surface. The large botanical repeat feels bold and graphic rather than soft-focus.

About this fabric

Enchanted Garden Martinique Lagoon Flat is woven in 100% polyester and specified with a 136cm usable width, a 136cm horizontal repeat and a 63cm vertical repeat. Its 50,000 Martindale rating and severe contract upholstery grade make it suitable for demanding interiors, while the treatable FR finish adds flexibility for both drapery and upholstery use. Visually, the fabric reads as a cool teal-blue with dark inky foliage and sand-gold highlights, creating strong contrast against the ground. The flat finish keeps the pattern crisp, so the layered leaves and feathered stems stay sharply defined across the cloth.

How to use it

This teal and gold palette works well against walnut, blackened oak or brushed brass, where the cooler blue can balance warmer finishes. It is especially effective on a tailored armchair, statement curtains or a headboard panel where the large repeat can be shown off.

Use it as a statement drape or upholstered accent where the deep teal ground and pale gold foliage can lead the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Enchanted Garden Martinique Lagoon Flat without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
