Enchanted Garden Parchment Wavy

SS22 Images - Enchanted Garden, Geometrica, Water Meadow & Portland Fabric

Enchanted Garden Parchment Wavy shows a softly parchment ground with painterly birds, leaves and flowing stems drifting across the cloth. The palette feels airy and muted, with coral, dove grey and blue-grey details standing out gently from the cream base.

About this fabric

This 100% polyester fabric has a usable width of 136cm and a large repeat of 136cm horizontally by 63cm vertically, giving the design room to unfold across a full drop or span. The visible surface reads as a smooth, finely printed cloth rather than a heavy weave, which suits the sweeping, wavy artwork and keeps the colourway looking light. Parchment is the calmest of the palette: a warm off-white with a soft ivory cast that makes the blush and slate tones feel subtle rather than bright. With a 50,000 Martindale rating and Severe Contract upholstery grade, it is specified for demanding interiors, and it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, full-height blinds or occasional upholstery where the soft parchment background can lift a room without feeling stark. It works especially well with natural timber, pale painted joinery and upholstery in muted sage, stone or dusty terracotta.

Use for elegant curtains or statement blinds where the soft parchment ground can let the painterly bird-and-foliage motif breathe.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Enchanted Garden Parchment Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
