About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 100% cotton with a usable width of 142cm and a 14cm horizontal by 16cm vertical pattern repeat. It is rated General Domestic with a Martindale of 20,000, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical choice as well as a decorative one. In the image, the ground reads as a soft terracotta with a muted earthy depth rather than a bright orange, while the repeated bud-like leaf motif appears in a crisp pale cream. The cotton surface has a natural, lightly textured matt finish that keeps the print feeling relaxed and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use this terracotta colourway to warm up a neutral room, especially alongside stone, linen and pale oak. It also works well in a country or contemporary setting where you want a small-scale botanical with a sun-baked, welcoming tone.

A warm terracotta chintz that feels easy and natural; pair it with pale woods and soft neutrals for a fresh, grounded scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
