About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, this fabric combines a supple handle with the natural texture visible in the close striped ground. The 140 cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale rating make it suitable for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR use in both drapery and upholstery applications. In this colourway, the russet base reads as warm ochre-brown rather than red, while the narrow cream detailing and blue-grey patterning add contrast without brightening the design too much. The large 69 cm horizontal and 60 cm vertical repeat supports the strong, panelled stripe effect seen in the swatch.

How to use it

Use it to warm up clean-lined seating, where the russet ground can balance pale wood, limewashed walls or mid-century shapes. It would also make distinctive curtains or Roman blinds, letting the blue-grey accents stand out against the earthy background.
