About this fabric

The small-scale herringbone pattern is formed by alternating pale ivory and warm taupe threads, giving the cloth a softly irregular, handwoven appearance. Its sand colouring reads warm and understated rather than yellow, while the ivory threads catch the light across the raised weave. The compact, substantial-looking texture makes this colourway particularly suited to tailored upholstery, including chairs, benches and occasional seating. No composition, width or performance features are supplied for this catalogue entry.

How to use it

Pair Inchture Sand with warm white, oatmeal and light timber for a calm, tonal scheme, or use it to soften darker walnut and aged brown leather. Its ivory-and-sand contrast works especially well on clean-lined upholstered pieces where the small woven pattern remains visible.

Use this warm sand woven upholstery on tailored seating, where its ivory herringbone texture adds quiet depth without overpowering the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
