About this fabric

The close-up shows a richly dark blue textile with violet and near-black tonal variation, giving the surface considerable depth rather than a flat solid appearance. Short, irregular woven marks create a restrained chevron effect, while occasional brighter flecks in rust, ochre and muted green punctuate the fabric. Its dense, nubby-looking construction makes it best suited to upholstery rather than light, fluid drapery.
