About this fabric

The small-scale herringbone weave creates a fine diagonal movement across the surface rather than a flat, uniform colour. Moss green forms the dominant tone, while ochre threads add warmth and pale blue-grey lines introduce a cooler contrast. Subtle horizontal and vertical banding gives the cloth a softly checked appearance, with the uneven yarn colours adding depth as the light moves across it. This is a versatile mid-weight-looking textile visually suited to both upholstered pieces and window treatments.

How to use it

Pair Tummel Inn Moss with natural timber, warm stone and aged brass, using its ochre threads to connect with terracotta or camel accents. The blue-grey lines also make it work with muted denim, slate or soft sage in a calmer scheme.

Use this earthy moss colourway to bring softly layered green, ochre and blue-grey tones to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
