Tummel Stripe Heron

Herringbone 1 Fabric

Tummel Stripe Heron combines cool blue-grey and softened green tones in a vertical stripe with a clearly visible herringbone weave. Its finely broken surface gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The design alternates broader pale grey-green bands with narrower, darker lines, creating a measured vertical rhythm across the cloth. Close up, the herringbone construction is especially apparent in the darker sections, where the directional weave catches the light in small diagonal chevrons. The Heron colourway reads cool and muted, with a subtle mineral cast that keeps the stripe calm rather than high-contrast. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool grey-green stripe on a tailored chair, headboard or sofa where its vertical direction can remain visible. Pair it with chalky neutrals, weathered wood and blue-grey accents to echo the swatch’s restrained, mineral tone.

A cool, quietly textured stripe with a tailored herringbone surface for upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
