Inchcolm Sheer Silver

Inchcolm Abbey Fabric

Inchcolm Sheer Silver is a cool, pale grey textile with a fine, irregular weave that gives the surface a softly weathered appearance. Its sheer construction keeps the colour light and airy while the crosswise threads add visible texture.

About this fabric

The silver-grey ground shifts subtly between pale grey and warmer flecks, creating more depth than a flat solid shade. Fine vertical and horizontal threads form an uneven, open-looking grid, with small variations that catch the light across the surface. This delicate appearance makes the fabric best suited to drapery, where the weave can read clearly without adding visual weight. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Hang Inchcolm Sheer Silver as relaxed curtains in a cool neutral room, pairing its pale metallic-grey tone with chalky whites, stone and soft timber. Keep the treatment simple so daylight can emphasise the irregular woven surface.

Use this cool silver-grey sheer for softly filtered curtains where its open, irregular weave can remain visible.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
