About this fabric

The fabric shows large scrolling paisley and floral forms arranged around a central, vertically balanced damask motif. Its sand-beige base is muted rather than bright, while the darker taupe-grey threads give the design definition without creating a stark contrast. A visibly tight, nubby weave adds depth to the detailed pattern and gives the cloth a substantial upholstery character. No performance features are recorded in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair this warm, softened sand tone with natural wood, aged brass and deeper taupe upholstery for a quietly traditional room. It would suit a statement armchair, dining chair or upholstered headboard where the large damask repeat can remain visible.

Use this muted sand-beige damask on traditional upholstery where its ornate woven pattern can be appreciated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
