About this fabric

The design is visibly printed over a lightly textured, natural-looking ground, with generous open areas between the floral sprays. Large cream roses and blush-pink blooms create a softly faded centre, while olive and charcoal leaves add weight and definition. Smaller burgundy and terracotta blossoms bring restrained points of warmth without overpowering the pale background. It is catalogued as a fabric in Swaffer’s Print collection, with no performance features noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair the warm oatmeal base with painted timber, aged brass and olive or russet accents for a collected traditional room. Its open ground can also bring balance to upholstery or curtains in spaces where the floral scale needs room to breathe.

Use the warm oatmeal ground to soften traditional upholstery, curtains or relaxed layered schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lansdowne Cotton 73 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
