About this fabric

The close-set weave is dominated by cool steel grey, with darker charcoal passages and lighter threads defining the ornament. Large curling damask and paisley forms fill the view, including a central scrolling stem, teardrop detail and smaller floral flourishes. Short, grainy yarn definition gives the surface a tactile, dimensional appearance rather than the look of a flat print. The supplied record lists no performance features or further specifications for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool steel-grey tone on a statement armchair, dining chair or shaped headboard where the detailed damask can remain visible. Balance its formal pattern with pale grey upholstery companions, dark timber or simple metal accents.

A cool steel-grey damask with intricate scrolling detail for tailored, statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
