Jacaranda

Pearl

Seoni Carpet

Pearl has a softly warm taupe tone, light enough to read as a gentle neutral while retaining the depth of natural stone. Across the surface, fine horizontal ridges create a subtly irregular, tactile finish.

About this fabric

This Seoni colourway is woven in closely spaced horizontal lines, with pale flecks and softly raised threads catching the light across the taupe ground. The effect is textural rather than patterned, giving the fabric a calm, softly layered appearance at close range. Catalogued as Carpet, it has the dense, substantial look that suits upholstery, particularly where a quietly tactile surface is wanted. Its pearl tone is warmer and more enveloping than a cool grey, while remaining understated enough to sit alongside natural woods and muted neutrals.

How to use it

Use Pearl on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm pearl-taupe tone can soften darker timber, chalky walls and layered neutral textiles. The horizontal weave adds restrained texture without introducing a strong motif.

The warm pearl-taupe ground and fine horizontal texture bring quiet depth to upholstered seating, headboards and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
