Juniper

Willingdon Carpet

Juniper is a deep, muted olive-green textile with a densely worked surface that gives the colour a softly mottled appearance. Its grey undertone keeps the shade calm rather than bright.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals a compact woven construction with fine horizontal and vertical texture, creating gentle tonal variation across the surface. Juniper combines dark moss, olive and grey-green notes, with the lighter threads catching the light in small flecks. The substantial, carpet-like appearance makes it best suited to upholstery where its depth and texture can be seen at close range. With no distinct motif, the surface reads as quietly patterned rather than plain.

How to use it

Pair Juniper with warm timber, aged brass and natural linen to balance its cool, greyed green tone. It would give a sofa, headboard or occasional chair a grounded, textural finish.

Use this deep, greyed olive weave to bring grounded colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
