About this fabric

This Straw colourway combines a sandy beige ground with fine taupe and cream variation across the weave. The surface is dense and low-relief, with tiny irregular threads creating a tactile, softly nubby finish. Subtle horizontal and vertical shifts are visible in the construction, while the light catches occasional threads without creating a strong sheen. Supplied as a Carpet-type textile, its substantial woven appearance makes it a natural choice for upholstery-led schemes.

How to use it

Use the warm straw tone on an armchair, headboard or sofa where its quiet flecking can soften stronger timber, stone or patterned fabrics. Pair it with chalky whites, oatmeal linens and deeper tobacco or olive accents to bring out its earthy warmth.

Use this warm straw-beige weave to add quiet texture and depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
