Dakota Suede Ii Navy

Dakota Suede Ii Fabric

Dakota Suede II Navy presents a rich, deep blue surface with the soft, low-sheen appearance of suede. Its subtle tonal variation gives the plain ground quiet depth rather than a completely flat finish.

About this fabric

The image shows a saturated navy that reads cool and inky, with darker and lighter shifts across the surface. A fine, suede-like nap creates a softly brushed appearance, while the muted sheen keeps the colour from looking glossy. There is no visible motif or repeat, making the depth of the blue and its gently mottled texture the defining features of this colourway.

How to use it

Use this cool navy on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its dark tone can anchor a room. Pair it with pale timber, chalky neutrals or warm metallic accents to balance the depth of the blue.

A deep, softly mottled navy with a suede-like finish for tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

Dakota Suede Ii Navy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
