Racer Buff

Graphic Nature Fabric

Racer Buff presents a quiet, pale buff ground with a softly dimensional geometric pattern. The tonal squares shift gently between warm ivory, sand and light beige across the face of the cloth.

About this fabric

The design is formed from faceted, cube-like squares arranged in a subtle checkerboard, giving the surface a measured sense of depth without strong contrast. Its warm buff colouring reads lighter through the centre of the swatch and becomes slightly more defined towards the edges, where the geometric construction is easier to see. A restrained woven texture adds fine visual variation across the otherwise calm surface. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Racer Buff on a tailored chair, headboard or occasional upholstery where its warm, low-contrast geometry can sit comfortably with ivory boucle, pale oak and muted taupe accents.

Pair the warm buff ground with chalky neutrals, natural timber and softly contrasting taupes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Racer Buff without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
