Stepfr Natural

Graphic Nature Fabric

Stepfr Natural combines a warm oatmeal-beige ground with softly contrasting cream and tan geometric forms. The low-contrast palette gives the repeated pattern a calm, natural character while retaining clear visual structure.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric, with no performance features noted, Stepfr Natural has a visibly woven surface and a substantial appearance suited to upholstery. Its warm natural ground is crossed by repeated cream and muted tan blocks, creating an orderly pattern of offset angular shapes. The close tonal relationship between the colours keeps the geometry softly graphic rather than stark. Fine woven texture is visible across the swatch, adding depth to the pale beige and allowing the tan elements to read with gentle warmth.

How to use it

Pair Stepfr Natural with warm ivory, oatmeal and light timber for a quietly coordinated scheme, or use it on a statement chair where the tan geometric rhythm can be appreciated up close. Its softened contrast also works well alongside plain natural linens and textured neutrals.

Use the warm natural ground and soft tan geometry to bring gentle structure to contemporary upholstery and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Stepfr Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
