About this fabric

The swatch reads as a very light, cool grey softened with a blue cast, rather than a warm stone neutral. Its face is quiet and near-plain, with a fine, even textile grain and only restrained tonal variation across the surface. The low-contrast colour gives the cloth a calm, airy presence, while the close-up texture keeps it from appearing completely flat. No composition, width, usage or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Ice Quarry where a room needs a cool, pale foundation without stark white: it would sit comfortably beside chalky neutrals, brushed metal and washed timber. Its subtle blue-grey tone can also temper warmer beige or taupe furnishings without creating a strong contrast.

Pair this cool blue-grey with crisp whites, soft greys and pale timber for a calm, light-filled scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
