About this fabric

The swatch is an even terracotta-brown, sitting between warm clay and softened russet rather than reading as a bright orange. A fine, close weave creates a lightly mottled surface, with subtle darker and lighter flecks visible across the cloth. There is no discernible motif, so the colour and restrained texture remain the focus. Its apparent mid-weight character makes it a versatile choice for upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use this warm russet terracotta to add grounded colour to a neutral room, particularly on a simple upholstered chair, headboard or relaxed curtain. Pair it with chalky creams, aged timber and muted olive tones to bring out its earthy depth.

A warm, softly mottled terracotta textile that brings depth without a visible pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
