Leaf Slate

Leaf Ii Fabric

Leaf Slate is a cool, deep slate grey with a gently clouded textile face. In the close-up, the restrained tonal grain is more apparent than any decorative leaf outline, giving this colourway a quiet, mineral depth.

About this fabric

The swatch presents a deep slate-grey tone with a cool charcoal cast rather than a warm brown undertone. Its close, softly mottled surface gives the cloth a fine woven texture, while subtle shifts in grey stop the face from appearing completely flat. No distinct motif is visible in this close-up, so the colourway reads as calm and textural. The even, mid-weight-looking appearance makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the cool slate shade to ground a room with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal, or layer it with deeper charcoal accents for a more enveloping scheme.

A cool slate-grey anchor for tailored seating, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
