Leaf Ii Fabric

Leaf Umber is a deep, warm reddish-brown textile with a quietly mottled surface. Its matte face shows delicate tonal variation rather than a defined motif, giving the colour a grounded, softly weathered character.

About this fabric

The colour sits between umber and muted terracotta, with a dusky warmth that becomes more apparent across the subtly varied surface. Fine, close texture gives the fabric a gently tactile appearance while keeping the overall look calm and understated. The absence of a visible repeat makes this colourway particularly easy to read as a solid from a distance, while the tonal movement adds depth at closer range. No composition, width or rub-test information is supplied for this colourway, so those technical details should be confirmed before ordering.

How to use it

Pair Leaf Umber with warm ivory, tobacco leather and dark timber for a rich, earthy scheme. Its muted reddish cast also works well as a grounding upholstery colour alongside olive, clay and aged brass.

Use this warm umber textile to bring earthy depth and subtle tactile interest to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
