Soho Carbon

Soho Fabric

Soho Carbon is a deep charcoal-grey upholstery fabric with a finely textured woven surface. Its cool, subdued tone reads as softer than true black, while the close weave adds quiet visual depth.

About this fabric

The surface shows a tight, small-scale weave in layered charcoal and soft grey, creating a low-contrast texture rather than a printed motif. Fine variations across the threads keep this dark colourway from appearing completely flat. The cool grey undertone gives Soho Carbon a restrained, tailored character, with the texture becoming more apparent as light moves across the surface.

How to use it

Use Soho Carbon on a structured sofa, dining chair or occasional chair where its deep cool grey can anchor pale woods, stone, brushed metal and muted blue-grey accents. It also works well as a calm contrast to warmer tan and tobacco tones.

A cool, deep charcoal with a fine woven texture that suits tailored upholstery and contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
