About this fabric
This Kirkby Design fabric is woven with a compact, highly textured surface rather than a bold printed motif. Its cedar-green tone sits between olive and blue-green, while scattered brown and charcoal threads warm and deepen the overall colour. Viewed close up, the irregular flecks and short horizontal movements give the cloth a subtly tactile, almost grain-like character. The restrained contrast keeps the design quietly patterned while making the upholstery feel visually substantial.
How to use it
Use Spiral Cedar on a chair, sofa or headboard where its dark earthy green can anchor lighter natural woods, warm neutrals and charcoal accents. Its finely mottled surface is particularly effective when a plain upholstery would feel too flat but a large pattern would be too dominant.
