Surface Sage is a muted sage-green textile with a softly mottled, pebbled texture visible across the swatch. Its low-contrast surface gives the colour a gently weathered depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The colour sits between soft sage and warm grey-green, with tiny tonal variations that become more apparent across the closely textured face. A fine, irregular pebble effect covers the surface, creating a tactile look without a defined printed motif. The dense appearance makes this fabric best suited to upholstery, particularly where a calm, understated texture is wanted. No performance features are noted for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Surface Sage on an armchair, ottoman or relaxed sofa where its softened grey-green tone can balance warm timber, putty neutrals and natural woven accents. Its quiet texture also works well as a grounding upholstery colour in a layered, tonal room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
