Caledonian Pine Green

Underground Voliii Fabric

Caledonian Pine Green brings a deep, cool green ground together with a pale, irregular grid. In the image, the shade shifts between near-black pine shadows and clearer moss-green areas as the cloth folds.

About this fabric

This fabric is catalogued as a textile from Kirkby Design’s Underground Voliii collection. Its visible design is a medium-scale plaid, formed by narrow pale lines crossing over broad blocks of pine green and darker green. The surface reads as matte and softly textured rather than glossy, while the hanging folds show that the pattern can deepen considerably in shadow. The restrained contrast gives this colourway a grounded, architectural character without losing the organic feel of green.

How to use it

Use it on a deep-seated chair or tailored curtains where the pine-green ground can sit against warm timber, charcoal, or chalky neutrals. The pale grid lines will add definition without making the room feel bright or busy.

Use the deep pine-green plaid to bring structured contrast and a cool, wooded tone to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
