Bromley Ochre

Underground Voliii Fabric

Bromley Ochre brings a warm, earthy golden tone to the Underground Voliii stripe, with fine vertical bands running through the full swatch. The close view shows subtle tonal variation and a lightly textured surface that keeps the ochre from appearing flat.

About this fabric

This colourway is built around a rich ochre ground crossed by narrow, irregular vertical stripes in deeper brown-gold tones. The stripes have a softly uneven, hand-drawn quality rather than a rigid, high-contrast geometry, while the visible surface texture adds quiet depth between them. Its warm golden-brown colouring gives the pattern a grounded, welcoming character that will read as more earthy than bright yellow. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric, so no additional technical claims are made here.

How to use it

Use Bromley Ochre on a structured armchair, dining chair or ottoman where its warm golden tone can sit comfortably with walnut, dark timber, tan leather and quieter natural neutrals. The fine vertical stripe can also subtly emphasise the lines of a tailored upholstered form.

Use the warm ochre ground to bring golden depth and a softly tailored rhythm to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bromley Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
