Peaks Oyster

Utility Fabric

Peaks Oyster has a warm, pale oyster ground covered by a dense field of irregular, crumpled-looking forms. Its low-contrast surface shifts between chalky cream and gentle taupe as the light catches the raised texture.

About this fabric

The design reads as an all-over abstract landscape of angular peaks and folded shapes rather than a formal repeat. Subtle tonal variation gives the cream base depth, while the softly uneven surface creates a tactile, lightly rumpled appearance. The overall effect is quiet and relaxed, with enough visual movement to keep a pale upholstery colourway from looking flat. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Peaks Oyster on a generously shaped chair, headboard or sofa where its warm cream tone can soften stronger architectural lines. Pair it with natural timber, chalky whites and muted taupe accents to echo the swatch’s restrained tonal shifts.

A softly tactile oyster textile that brings gentle movement and quiet warmth to upholstered pieces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Peaks Oyster without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
