About this fabric

The close view shows repeated feather-like fans built from curved scallops, with dark outlines and contrasting bands that make the motif read with considerable depth. Celadon remains the dominant impression, while muted coral and pink bring warmth against cooler blue, sage and navy passages. A fine vertical surface texture is visible across the cloth, catching the light as narrow highlights beneath the printed-looking pattern. No composition, width or rub-test data is supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use this colourway where a pale blue-green foundation can freshen a room without becoming plain: it would bring character to a statement chair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains. Echo the coral and ochre details in smaller cushions, while keeping surrounding surfaces quiet enough for the large-scale pattern to breathe.

A cool celadon ground gives the densely layered fan pattern a fresh, collected feel, with coral, navy, olive and ochre accents adding depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
