The large-scale composition is densely ornamented, with pale birds and full-blown flowers balanced by scrolling leaves, small blossoms and central floral medallion-like groupings. Its natural beige background keeps the many motifs grounded, while ochre-gold and brown accents add warmth and the grey-blue feathers introduce a cooler counterpoint.
