About this fabric

On the soft grey ground, grenat red is drawn as an intricate pastoral toile: a central woman with a raised vessel stands among trees, flowers and smaller figures. The burgundy linework becomes especially dense around the edges, where leafy branches and large blooms frame the central scene, while open grey areas keep the vignette legible.
