Sérénade - Printemps

Belle Époque Fabric6493-03

Sérénade - Printemps places coral-red butterflies and delicate flowering stems across a muted sage-green ground. Creamy highlights within the wings and blossoms give the print a softly aged, illustrated character.

About this fabric

The design combines multiple butterfly forms with branching stems, small blossoms and scattered leaves, creating a medium-scale pattern with plenty of open sage-green space. Coral, dusty red and warm cream details stand clearly against the cool, greyed green background rather than appearing brightly saturated. The surface looks smooth and finely printed in this image, making it visually suited to lighter drapery applications. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool sage ground at full curtain length where it can bring calm depth to a room, then echo the coral-red wings with a warm neutral or antique rose accent. Its detailed botanical composition is especially effective alongside painted furniture and restrained traditional furnishings.

Use this muted sage-green ground to temper the ornate coral butterfly and flowering-stem print in a traditionally styled room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sérénade - Printemps without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
